Before you start, get your license key from our Discord server.

Step 1: Download the egg and import it to Pterodactyl

SunGuard uses the same egg as SunLicense: SunLicenseEggShell, a modified generic Java egg originally based on parkervcp’s Generic Java Egg.

Download egg-generic-java.json

On the first start, the SunGuard server automatically downloads the required dependencies. This can take several minutes and creates a .m2 folder.

Step 3: Access the SunGuard dashboard

Visit your server address

Open your browser and go to http://{serverip}:{port}, replacing {serverip} and {port} with your server’s actual IP and port.
2

  • Password: admin
3

Update your credentials

After logging in, go to Settings and change the default credentials for better security.
🎉 Congratulations! You have successfully set up the SunGuard server.
